Born in Soberton to James and Mary Ann Campbell; baptised 12th April 1857 at St Peter's Soberton (her father is listed as a Soldier). The 1861 census lists Annie living with her grandparents (Thomas and Sarah Parrott), and Aunt (Harriett) at Busher Down Farm, Soberton. The 1871 census lists her living in Suffolk with James and Harriett Campbell, who are listed as her parents (Its likely her father has remarried). James is listed as a Carpenter.
She married Charles Bucksey in 1878 in the Droxford district.
The 1881 census lists her, her husband (Charles) and 3 children living at Down Cottage, Malt House Lane, Soberton. The oldest child is named Edith Campbell (Her maiden name) and was born before they married. The 1891 census lists her, Charles, and 7 children living on Hambledon Road, but by 1901 they lived in Catherington with 6 children.
