Notes:

The 4th child and eldest daughter of 10 children of Thomas and Mary Bucksey.
Born 4th February 1862; Baptised in Soberton 12th April 1863.
The 1871 census lists her living with her parents and 6 siblings on Pond Row, Soberton. The 1881 census lists the family (9 children) at Upper Heath, Soberton. She is listed as "Ann" which is likely what she was known as to avoid confusion with her mother, and she is working as a Domestic Servant.
She married James in the Portsea district in the spring of 1885.
The 1891 census lists the two of them living in "Maybush" in Soberton, with their two sons. By 1901 they had 4 children (and two visitors) and were living on Liberty Road [interestingly there seems to have been some confusion by the numerator about whether this was in Soberton or Newtown...]. The 1911 census lists the family (all with full names) at Forest Lodge, Newtown. James and Mary Ann have been married 25 years and have had 4 children.
The 1939 register lists them living at Little Bere Farm, Soberton. Mary Ann is recorded as holding "Domestic Duties" and her brother Edward Bucksey (widow) living with them.

Children:
William James (1886), Frederick (1890), Evelyn Alice (Eva) (1896), Percy Arthur (Arthur) (1901)
