SSP-I-80

Reader with solemn thought survey this Grave, reflect on the untimely death of thy fellow mortal and whilst as a Man thou readest the inhumane Narrative drop a Tear for his Family's loss. On the 20th August of 1782 James Stares was murther'd and robb'd in the 46th year of his Age. It is nothing to ye that pass by. Behold and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow, which is done unto me. Wherewith the Lord hath afflicted me in the day of his fierce anger.
